Description
Louis 15 period Monolithic stone bowl.
Decorated with gadroons and a lead lion's head to pour the water, resting on an haxgonal column foot.
Provenance : " Caillebotte property " which was from 1843 to 1860 the property of
the widow of the famous goldsmith of Napoleon the First Martin-Guillaume
Biennais (1764-1843), then from 1860 to 1879, of Martial and Céleste
Caillebotte, the parents of Gustave Caillebotte.
